How much do advertising shares cost?
The cost for advertising shares is currently $100 per share, the more shares you buy, the more coverage you will receive on AAADesignList.com.

What will buying advertising shares do for me?
Buying ad shares will basically give you a percentage of the total advertising space available at AAADesignList.com. This percentage is determined by the total amount of shares bought by all members in relation to the number of shares purchased by your business. If your business owns 10% of the total shares purchased by members, you will be given approximately 10% of the advertising space across the entire site.

What advertising options are available?

One of the most important benefits to buying ad shares is that we will make sure we give you valuable lead time for design requests. We will make sure to contact you first before all of the other regular featured members.

Do the ad shares last forever?
Unfortunately, no. The ad shares you purchase will last for one year, after which they must be renewed. You can purchase more ad shares throughout the year to increase the total shares that you own, but each separate purchase has its own renewal/anniversary date.

How many ad shares have you sold so far this year?
The shares system was implemented on the night of Jan. 17, 2001. As of Feb. 16, 2001, only 9 ad shares have been sold. With this current total, by purchasing only 9 shares you could effectively obtain 50% of the advertising space available at AAADesignList.com.

Why don't you just charge a referral fee like everyone else?
We definitely see this as alternative to the old referral structure. We are offering our members a method to invest back into the directory, not just to benefit us, but to benefit your business as well. If you were to pay us a referral fee for any jobs you land, that money would just be lost. With our system, instead of paying a referral fee, you can purchase more ad shares and in exchange be given even more coverage on AAADesignList.com. This system benefits your business and ours, after all, if one client is happy with your business, we are sure that others will be happy as well.
